Tim Thomas backs the Chick Fil’ A Cathy family

One of the biggest debates in the country is currently in Boston and Philadelphia where each of those cities’ mayors are denying the Chick Fil’ A company from establishing restaurants in those cities because the Cathy family who runs and operates the business is against gays and lesbians having the right to marry.

So, of course, Tim Thomas got in on the debate:

To me, this is nothing more than a political debate and if I have learned two things about sports blogging is to put the news up as is and to never talk politics. That’s what’s going to happen here.

If you want to talk about it, do so in the comments below (holy shit, we have a comments section?) If a debate starts I likely won’t get involved, but maybe. It’s a highly controversial political topic and I simply don’t like to use politics in writing.
