CBS NFL blogger thinks Pats will go 16-0

Look, I am one of the biggest homers there is. Hell, I named the website “Boston’s Bettah” for a reason. Despite my blatant homer-ism, I would never in a million years pick the New England Patriots to finish 16-0 in a regular season. The jinx potential there is just too numerous.

Unfortunately for the superstitious among us (including myself), Pete Prisco of CBS Sports has projected the New England Patriots’ to go 16-0 in the upcoming NFL season.

Look, I think the Patriots’ will be really good, but perfect good? Too many things have to go right for that to happen. This season also doesn’t have the added benefit of the “eff you” mode. Remember how in 2007 after the totally and completely overblown “spy-gate” when the Patriots just got really pissed off and decided to run up the score on every team in the league? Unless Rex Ryan starts saying things about Tom Brady’s sister, I don’t think that will happen.

Although, Rex Ryan saying something crazy isn’t a completely ridiculous notion now, isn’t it?
