Bye Coco

Posted 2008/11/19 By Benti

The Red Sox made a huge mistake today. They essentially traded Coco Crisp, an important player who can start and/or be a huge role player depending on the day for Jack Shit named Ramon Ramirez. Who the fuck?

Really when Jacoby fucks up at some point this year, and I’m telling you he will, Terry Francona is going to look at his bench players and realize “Hey we traded Brandon Moss and Coco Crisp in less then a year” (Note: Moss did = Bay > Moss but not > Mossman > Every reciever in football< TFB > Matt Cassel > The Dolphins < Your Mom)

Good Bye Coco. You will be missed.

And my sister needs a new shirt, I vote MVDP.

MVDP!!

Just look at him in all his scrapiness. I just made up that word so screw you.

Finally a Boston MVP, and (With the exception of a certain MVY, Most Valuable Youk), none more deserving of the award. You can almost give him the award based on his second half numbers alone. After the All Star game, Pedi hit .345 with a .402 and had only one less HR and 11 less RBI’s then his Pre All Star Game numbers in 30 LESS GAMES! Can I get a WOW! (wwwwooowww). Personaly if I was a voter, I would have given it to Youk who basically carried the team when both Manny and Ortiz were out early in the year and was the main run producer of the offense the entire year, with Bay helping out in the second half. Maybe I would have also given it to Youk because I paid 1$ for him to play thrid base in my Auction Roto league, but I digress.

Notes:

  • BC hoops has restarted and is MSG bound to play Purdue in the PNIT semis. I really like this team this year. Most people know of the greatness of Tyreese Rice, but Rakim Sanders and Corey Raji are ready to SHINE this year. Just watching Ra against St. Johns and you could tell that kid was in the weight room a TON in the offseason. He’s gotten big and is ready to be that three who can be physical and take the shots that has been missing. I also really like Joe Trapani. Early on, he looked like that sterotypical white guy that college teams have who for some reason are really good at shooting 3′s, but this kid was athletic and was making great plays off the ball as well. I also hope to talk more about Reggie Jackson as the season goes on.
  • Pats are in third, cry.
  • Comcast Sports Net FUCKED up tonight as they could not give a feed for the game because of some technical difficulties. Instead we had to listen to Mike Gormon and Tommy Heinsohn call the game basically as a radio game. Not only is basketball already not the best sport to listen to on the radio (in addition to hockey) but Mike and Tommy are much better TV annoucers then radio annoucers. Also, the KG suspension is bull but if you lose him for one game, make it the Knicks.
  • Kerry Collins, David Garrard, Brett Farve, or Trent Edwards in fantasy?

Until next time
